Very Spirtual
I already knew a lot about the subject matter, but the author clarifies so much more. This book will tick off a lot of traditionalists, but if you really want to know what the Bible actually says, this is the book to get.

Well Written
Honestly, I think it’s one of the most important books I’ve ever read. Most followers of Jesus think that when you die you either go to Heaven to be with God or you go to Hell to be tortured forever. Neither concept can be found anywhere in scripture. Meyer breaks down and separates scriptural truth from man made tradition.

That is not what this great book is about though. I have had learning that I can’t always put into words. This book does that for me and I don’t sound like a nut! Understand what it means to be BORN AGAIN. You don’t shoot straight to the Kingdom when you die!

Here the author Mr. Martin K. Ettington back through intervening traditions to what the disciples really believed about life and everlasting life. He address subjects like ‘Is the soul immortal?’ and ‘Is there really a Hell as a place of eternal torment?’ I would recommend this book for anyone who wants to take a serious look at what the Bible says about what happens after we die without mysticism or cheap sentiments.
